Milton Mouzon is a self proclaimed basketball junkie. Ever since he first saw Lou Hudson and John Drew of the Atlanta Hawks take the court against the Philadelphia 76ers Darryl Dawkins and Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Mouzon has been hooked on this game. Some of his fondest memories involve playing basketball in his driveway with friends and family. Fortunately, there is no known cure for his Basketball Jones at this time.
Mouzon attended and played basketball at C.L. Harper High School in Atlanta, GA and went on to attend Lincoln University in Missouri. Mouzon started coaching youth basketball in Kansas City, MO in 1995. His Three "D" Orangemen were highly successful locally and on the national AAU circuit. Mouzon sharpened his coaching acumen by participating in camps for UMKC, Rockhurst and the University of Kansas.
In 2002 Mouzon started a recruiting website dedicated to getting exposure for the talented players in the metro Kansas City area. When it came to high school hoops in Kansas City, the KCHoopScoop was the #1 source. Mouzon was a regular guest on the local news for the high school segments and was frequently interviewed by other national recruiting services. Mouzon formed relationships with many coaches from such schools as Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, Creighton, Northern Iowa, Minnesota, UMKC, Lincoln University, Morehouse and many more. Mouzon also sponsored a high school All-Star game which brought more exposure to the local players.
Every player on Mouzon's class of 2004 graduating team, with the exception of one (academic scholarship),went on to play college basketball. Two former players recognized their dream and currently play professionally overseas. One former player is currently in the NFL. This group of young men were coached by Mouzon from their 4th grade year through their senior year in high school.
Mouzon has a passion for giving his players a positive mental edge and instills in them the belief that through hardwork and a commitment to the Three D's - DISCIPLINE...DEDICATION...DETERMINATION they can achieve all their goals on the basketball court and in the biggest game of all...LIFE!

Anthony Crowder's first love was the great american past time...BASEBALL. But, when he started to stretch out and learned how to dunk the basketball a new love affair was embraced. Crowder grew up watching the great dunkers like Clyde Drexler, Dr. J, Kenny Skywalker and David Thompson to name a few. In high school he garnered the nickname "Spider" in reference to his quick leaping ability.
Crowder was a dual sport athlete at C.L. Harper High School in Atlanta, GA starring in baseball and basketball. He was an All-City selection as a senior for basketball. Crowder raised the roof off the Harper gym with his thunder dunks. Many of those dunks were on the heads of his opponents. Crowder went on to star at Lincoln University in Missouri and was the conference newcomer of the year his first season. Crowder led the team in scoring for two of his three years as a Blue Tiger. Crowder suffered knee problems and was unable to workout with pro teams following graduation from college.
Crowder worked with Milt Mouzon's KCHoopScoop in Kansas City. Crowder's main responsibilty was identifying talent on the Missouri side for the Annual High School All-Star game and putting together the KCHS Showcase for rising seniors. Crowder joins the 3D Hoops team and offers extensive training in post moves and shooting the basketball. Crowder is all about effort and believes you leave it all on the court everytime.
Bennie Gibbs can remember exactly when he developed his passion for the game of basketball. It was in 1979 when he first saw Earvin “Magic” Johnson do one his famous no look passes. Bennie has been on fire for playing and learning basketball ever since. Bennie started playing competitive basketball in the 4th grade and still competes in leagues today. His passion for the game is the same as it was when he first saw “Magic” doing his thing.
Gibbs was a three year letterman at C.L. Harper High School in Atlanta,
After completing his college career, Gibbs knew he wanted to get involved in coaching. He started his coaching career as an assistant for six years at Wheeler High School. In 2000 he accepted his first head coaching position at Cross Keys High School. He would later become head coach at Berkmar and Pebblebrook High Schools. As a head coach, Gibbs teams were 146-96. This includes one State Championship, two Region Championships, three Sweet Sixteen’s, two Final Eights and on Final Four. He has won coach of the year honors in both Dekalb County and Cobb County and was also the Metro Coach of the year. In 2006, Gibbs was selected as one of the assistant coaches for the prestigious McDonalds All-American game.
Bennie received his Bachelors from Tulsa University and is currently completing his Masters in Teacher Leadership from Ashford University.
Gibbs brings a wealth of experience both as a player and coach to the 3D Hoops program. He has a knack for developing talent and getting the most out of his players. Gibbs firmly believes in the age old adage that Practice Makes Perfect. When you step into the gym with Coach Gibbs, get ready to work your body and your basketball IQ.

Joseph Hutchingson is currently playing professional basketball in Mexico for the Toro's. On the AAU summer circuit, Hutchingson played for the 3D Orangemen, coached by Milt Mouzon. Joseph played high school ball at Sumner Academy where his team was 3rd in the state his junior year and Runner-Ups his senior year. Hutchingson went on to play for Kansas City Kansas Community College and finished up his college eligibility at Lincoln University in Missouri. Hutchingson resides in Atlanta during the offseason and is looking forward to his 2nd year of professional basketball.

Ryan Sp
earman played AAU basketball for the 3D Orangemen in Kansas City, which was coached by Milt Mouzon. Like Joseph, Ryan attended Sumner Academy in Kansas City, KS and was a member of their 3rd place and Runner Up teams. After high school Ryan accepted a scholarship to Kansas City Kansas Community College and then finished his colleigate career at Lincoln University in Missouri. Ryan is currently residing in Atlanta as he pursues his dream to play professionally. Ryan recently participated in the invitation only Pro One Sports Free Agent Camp. Ryan is working out and waiting to hear back from the agents and scouts.
